Lailany Maruhom Baguan, CPA, CTT, CMA Passer, is a Certified Public Accountant, U.S. Certified Management Accountant Exam passer, and Certified Tax Technician. She ranked 5th-place in the 2023 Certified Tax Technician Examination. In April 2025, she successfully passed the U.S. CMA Examination awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) - a globally respected credential that validates proficiency in financial planning, analysis, control, decision support, and professional ethics. This achievement highlights her global competence and readiness to lead in complex financial environments.

Lailany’s academic journey began at Sultan Ali Dimaporo Memorial Integrated School, where she graduated as Class Valedictorian with High Honors, and continued at Saint Columban College, again earning With High Honors in Senior High School. She pursued her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), graduating Cum Laude while actively participating in leadership and academic organizations.

Her professional training includes internships at SGV & Co. and at the Commission on Audit (COA) – DepEd Iligan City, where she gained valuable experience in auditing and compliance. Currently, she serves as a Junior Accounting Associate at Yanoyan CPAs Accounting Firm, where she handles financial reporting, bookkeeping, tax filings, management consultancy, and regulatory compliance across various industries such as food, architecture, real estate, and manufacturing.

In addition to her practice, Lailany is a part-time Accounting Instructor at Pagadian Junior College, teaching Basic Accounting and Business Finance. Driven, diligent, and deeply committed to her craft, she continues to pursue excellence as both a practitioner and educator in the accounting profession.
